Director of Policy and Campaigns

AYENDRI RIDDELL (she/her)

Ayendri is a Sri Lankan-born community educator and campaigner with over 15 years of experience working in research-based advocacy organizations, including Amnesty International, the Ontario Public Interest Research Group, and the UBC Centre for Community Engaged Learning. Grounded in a longstanding involvement in grassroots anti-oppressive organizing — including work with groups such as No One Is Illegal and the End Immigration Detention Network — she brings extensive experience in a range of tactics, including direct action, mutual aid, and popular education. Currently, she serves as the Director of Policy and Campaigns at the BC Health Coalition, where she works to strengthen and protect public health care through evidence based research and solidarity building.
