March 31st: National Day of Action

There were over 25 rallies across BC

On March 31st, communities across the country rallied to call for federal leadership on health care.

Last year, the Federal Government let the Health Accord expire. Without an Accord, there is no agreement between the Federal Government and the provinces. In addition, the Federal Government plans to cut $36 billion to the provinces after the next election.

A Health Accord is essential for meeting the heath care needs of all.

In BC, from Fort St John to Vancouver, Nelson to Nanaimo, people called for federal leadership on health care outside hospitals and MPs offices
