Angus has been fighting corporate power and privatization in the non-profit space for the last 11 years. Working with BCHC, he helped spread the word about the Cambie Surgery case to Ekō’s (then called SumOfUs) 200,000 Canadian members, delivered a petition with tens of thousands of signatures on the first day of the court case, helped fundraise, and worked with BCHC to announce the massive win against Dr. Brian Day in 2020. Previous to working at Ekō, Angus spent 5 years as policy and assessment specialist at a Social Corporate Responsibility consultancy. He has two adorable kids and he spends most of his spare time hanging out with them.
